I am an awarding-winning teacher, musician, media contributor, and researcher from Winnipeg, Canada. I hold a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and am actively engaged in public advocacy/research that advances teachers' transformative professionalism, mitigates occupational burnout, and cultivates community wellbeing/meaning-making through music and the arts. Through my doctoral studies, I was the proud recipient of the 2026 University of Manitoba Distinguished Dissertation Award for top 'groundbreaking' thesis in the social sciences.

Recognized for my grassroots initiatives, I have been interviewed nationally on CBC As It Happens with Carol Off; featured on the front pages of the Winnipeg Free Press, University of Manitoba: The Bulletin, and Manitoba Teacher magazine; have presented at national and international conferences; and have received local and national awards, including the Al and Alma Cerilli Young Activist Scholarship from the Manitoba Federation of Labour.
