Reconstructing early hominin dietary adaptation and Neogene paleo-landscapes, focusing on the onset and evolution of meat consumption among Plio-Pleistocene hominins and their relationship to changing ecosystems, using stable isotope analyses of fossil tooth enamel, pedogenic carbonates, and other proxies.
