I am a Curator and Head of Department of the Vivarium at Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde Karlsruhe (SMNK), Germany. I recieved my PhD in Zoology at the Humboldt Universität Berlin and the University of Melbourne as a joint-PhD in 2023.

My research in the realm of Conservation Paleobiology combines data from fossils with data from extant specimens to evaluate the impacts of climate change on threatened Australian reptiles. For this I use a wide range of methods including morphological and molecular approaches.
