Sophie Hearn

Sophie is a PhD student in Psychology at the University of Exeter where she also earned an MSc in Psychological Research Methods. Prior to this, she completed a BSc in Psychology through the Open University.

Her research combines cognitive, social and experimental psychology to explore health-related behaviour change and to design and evaluate interventions. Sophie's PhD research is investigating how month-long abstinence campaigns, such as Veganuary and Dry January lead to short and longer-term changes in meat and alcohol consumption.
