Sally K. Ledwaba

Sally Ledwaba is a registered social worker with the South African Council for Social Service Professions. She currently serves as an Academic Excellence Coordinator in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment at Tshwane University of Technology and has over 12 years of experience in the public, non-profit and higher education sectors. She recently completed her PhD in Social Work, where she explored the resilience processes and career advancement of African woman academics in South African higher education.
Her work is driven by a commitment to advancing equity, inclusion and social justice in universities. She aspires to contribute towards transforming higher education by tackling systemic exclusion and creating environments where students and staff can thrive.
