Pedro Seabra Freitas

I am a marine biologist and my research is currently focused on population biology, ecology, and fisheries of marine bivalves and decapods, and more recently on conservation and restoration of marine habitats and communities. My work often results in advice and information to relevant political, management and regulatory governmental agencies, as well as stakeholders.
Previously, I have focused on bivalve sclerochronology using shells as archives for past and present environmental and oceanographic conditions.
