Pedro Pineda

Pedro Pineda (Dr. Phil. in Education with Habilitation in Sociology) is Associate Professor and Director of Studies of the Doctorate in Education at the Department of Education, University of Bath. He has been a visiting researcher at the School of Education of Stanford University and the Institute of Communication and Public Policy of the Università della Svizzera Italiana (University of Lugano). He specializes in the fields of comparative education, curriculum and pedagogy, higher education studies, the sociology of education, and organizational studies. His recent publications can be found in leading journals in these fields, such as Comparative Education, Comparative Education Review, Journal of Curriculum Studies, Studies in Higher Education, Higher Education, and the British Journal of Sociology of Education.
