I am an Associate Professor of Anatomy at James Cook University, with over 20 years of experience teaching anatomy across multiple disciplines. My academic career began at Monash University and has continued at JCU, where I contribute to the training of future health professionals through courses in gross anatomy, histology, neuroanatomy, and embryology.

As a content expert, I’m passionate about making complex anatomical concepts accessible and relevant, especially as new research brings fresh insight into longstanding questions. This article reflects my ongoing interest in exploring anatomy for work and for fun.
