Mislav Ante Omazić

Mislav Ante Omazić, PhD, was born in Zagreb in 1971. He studied at three faculties and earned his degrees at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, completing part of his doctoral studies at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University in the United States. He is a tenured Full Professor at the Department of Organization and Management of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb, and President of the Management Board of IEDC-Bled School of Management in Slovenia, where he currently also serves as Acting Dean.

He is one of the pioneers of corporate social responsibility in Croatia, involved in the development of HRIO from its very beginning. His research and teaching focus on business ethics, sustainability, change management, project management and leadership, and he teaches at all levels of study, from undergraduate to doctoral. He serves on the juries of the PMI Project of the Year, PwC Building Trust and Deloitte Green Frog awards, as well as the Small Lighthouse for Great People, the Dr. Dražen Glavaš award.

As a consultant and project team member he has worked with leading national and international organizations, including Toyota Motor Corporation, Novartis, Raiffeisen International, T-HT, PBZ, Styria, the Croatian Lottery, the World Bank, IFC, the UN, EU institutions, UNICEF, PwC and Deloitte. He is an IBM ambassador, a local associate of the World Bank and an adviser to Feelsgood, the first social impact fund in the region, and has helped launch and lead social impact projects such as eSTUDENT, Global Shapers, Creative Dimensions Powered by Toyota, Creative Laboratory, PGLF and Dinamo's Spring.

In corporate governance, he is currently a member of the Supervisory Board of Hrvatska poštanska banka (HPB), a member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee of Čakovečki mlinovi, and a member of the Supervisory Board of GNK Dinamo Zagreb. He previously served as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, President of the Management Council of the Institute of Economics, Zagreb, and a member of the advisory board of the Medvedgrad Brewery.
