Mine Karatas-Ozkan is Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the University of Southampton Business School and an internationally recognised scholar in entrepreneurship, leadership, sustainability and inclusive innovation. Over more than two decades, her research, teaching and academic leadership have focused particularly on women’s leadership and entrepreneurship, gender equality, social inclusion and the development of more compassionate and sustainable organisations.
She completed the Women’s Leadership Programme at Yale School of Management and has designed and delivered executive education in women’s leadership, inclusive leadership, sustainable entrepreneurship and social enterprise. Her work combines academic insight with extensive experience of mentoring professionals, doctoral researchers and emerging leaders.
Her current ambition is to develop executive education, coaching and thought leadership in compassionate leadership, helping leaders cultivate self-awareness, courage, empathy and relational intelligence while creating inclusive, resilient and high-performing workplaces. She is particularly interested in translating research on women’s leadership and entrepreneurship into practical frameworks that enable individuals and organisations to lead meaningful and sustainable change.
