Melisa is a senior communications and digital strategy professional with over a decade of experience advancing public health and health system priorities. She specializes in health communications, digital strategy, and innovation, with a strong track record of improving access to high-quality health information and strengthening engagement across complex health environments.

She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador (2022), where her studies focused on population and public health, including health equity, global health, and the social and ecological determinants of health. Melisa is particularly interested in the intersection of health, society, and communications technology, with a focus on leveraging digital tools and innovation to support better health outcomes and system transformation.
