Masha Remskar

(she/her)

Dr Remskar holds a PhD in Behavioural Science (University of Bath, '24), MSc in Health Psychology (University of Bath, '20), and BSc Psychology with Sport & Exercise Science (University of Exeter, '19). She has spent the last decade researching and learning about the interconnectedness of mental and physical health, and how the interaction can be harnessed to promote health. In particular, Dr Remskar is an expert in mindfulness-supported behaviour change, having led the creation of the first digital mindfulness intervention tailored to support physical activity engagement and enjoyment. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Arizona State University, where she researches the use of wearable technology for measuring and promoting a healthier balance of 24-hour behaviours (i.e., moving more, sitting less, and sleeping enough).
