Maambele Khosa is a science communicator, marketing strategist, and PhD candidate at Stellenbosch University. She serves as Head of Communications and Marketing at the Stellenbosch University's Centre for Epidemic Response and Innovation (CERI), where her work spans media, public engagement, science communication, and the translation of research for African and global audiences.

Her doctoral research sits at the intersection of climate change, infectious disease policy, and science communication, with a particular focus on how Africa shapes and narrates its own story in global health discourse. She holds an MPhil in Science and Technology Studies, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, and a BSc in Geoinformatics and Information Systems Management; a cross-disciplinary foundation that informs her approach to research communication, policy engagement, and knowledge translation.

Beyond academia, Maambele is the founder of SheCab, a women-led transport platform tackling gender-based violence in South Africa. Her contributions across science, entrepreneurship, and social impact have earned her recognition as one of the Mail & Guardian's 200 Young South Africans (2023) and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Africa honoree (2025).
