Focusing on the impact of anthropogenic changes in the marine environment, including industrial fishing and climate change, on marine top predators in particular. More recently also looking at the impact of plastic and associated pollutants on the marine ecosystem.
Engaged in many public platforms, as a member of various local and national committees or working groups of management or governmental bodies, as a marine scientist and an environmentalist.
