Llucia Mascorda-Cabre

Llucia is a marine and terrestrial ecology and conservation researcher with over 10 years’ experience in collecting and interpreting measurements from a diverse range of ecological regimes. Her academic and professional experience have always involved a multidisciplinary approach to marine conservation and marine resource management. Llucia has worked in the NGO sector, for a consultancy, and for a non-departmental public body (Natural England). Llucia has also worked as a scientific diver and as a government adviser on the designation of new Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and developed new Conservation Advice packages for UK MPAs. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher with the aMER Unit undertaking research on the impacts of aquaculture and MPAs on the Defra funded FISP project, Ropes to Reefs.
