Laura Vilà Valls obtained a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Girona and an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), where she later completed her PhD in Biomedicine at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology in December 2025. During her doctoral studies, she conducted a research stay at the UCL Genetics Institute (London) supported by an EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant.
