(She)

Dr Laura Boubert is a psychologist at the University of Westminster specialising in cognitive psychology and neuropsychology, including sleep, hallucinations, memory, and language, with a focus on how these relate to everyday lived experience.

She has a particular interest in innovative teaching practices, including assessment and the development of students’ key skills, especially for neurodivergent learners. She has received funding from the British Academy for her work on cognitive ageing and has led projects exploring the use of digital tools such as blogs, wikis, and e-portfolios in higher education. More recent work has explored ways to bring the lived experience of people with medical conditions, in particular acquired brain injury, into the curriculum and beyond through events and online case studies.
