Keith Cherry is political and legal theorist, educator and community activist living on unceded Coast Salish territories. Keith received a Phd from the University of Victoria in 2020, a post-doctoral degree from the university of Alberta in 2023, and is currently a post-doctoral researcher at McGill and a Lecturer at the University of Victoria.
His research interests include comparative pluralism, settler-Indigenous relations, the European Union, agonistic politics, social movement politics, and pluralism in social movement praxis. Much of his scholarship compares the relationship between Canadian and Indigenous governance structures with the relationship between the European Union and its member-states.
