- Postdoctoral Fellow, Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability, University of British Columbia
I'm a researcher-practitioner supporting the advancement of Indigenous-led conservation and Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) in Canada. My PhD (2022) critically analyzed possibilities for reconciliation through IPCAs. I extended this research through a postdoctoral fellowship at UBC (2023-2025). I'm currently leading the development of a research program on IPCAs at Vancouver Island University, in collaboration with the IISAAK OLAM Foundation.
