Jurin has an MPhil in economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc in biology and economics from the University of St Andrews. As a research scholar at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, she conducted applied microeconomic research on how changes in healthcare payment systems affected the care provided in developing countries. At Nesta, Jurin’s work focuses on how incentives for businesses could be used to make the food environment healthier.
