- Research Team Lead for East Africa - Climate Security, CGIAR
Joyce Takaindisa, PhD is currently the East African Regional Lead for the CGIAR Climate Security Team at the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) in Kenya and a Research Associate in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. She is a qualitative researcher with experience in studying and implementing migration & displacement related work, gender, social inclusion & intersectionality (GESII), climate, peace and security, project development and coordination. Her current work and research seeks to generate evidence through research and policy programming on climate change, migration and displacement nexus across food, land, and water systems.
