John Broich received his PhD from Stanford University in 2005. He is a history professor at Case Western Reserve University where he teaches courses on race and empire and World War II. He is the author of White Supremacy: A Short History and Blood, Oil, and the Axis: The Allied Resistance Against a Fascist State in Iraq and the Levant, 1941 among other books.
