Jasmine Kerrissey is the director of the Labor Center at UMass, Amherst, and an associate professor of sociology. Her research focuses on work, inequality and the labor movement.
She co-authored the award winning book "Union Booms and Busts: The Ongoing Fight over the US Labor Movement" with Judith Stepan-Norris (Oxford University Press 2023). Her work has been published in many leading academic journals, including American Sociological Review, Social Forces, Labor Studies Journal, and Industrial and Labor Relations Review.
