- Senior Researcher, Circular Economy, ETH Zurich
My research investigates how policy framework conditions, regulations, and principles of environmental policy, such as extended producer responsibility (EPR), affect the transition towards net-zero circular supply chains in plastic, battery, and agrifood sectors. I'm an EPR expert dedicated to advancing nature-positive, equitable, and circular solutions for healthcare. I'm a deep generalist, having gone in and out of circularity consulting, sustainability policy, strategy, and academia, including lecturing (corporate sustainability, circularity, and sustainability leadership).
Sustainability expert and PhD graduate from ETH Depts. of Environmental Systems Science (USYS), Management, Technology, and Economics (MTEC), and the Institute of Science, Technology, and Policy (ISTP). I'm associated with the Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and the Cambridge Conservation Initiative (CCI). I examined the landscape of corporate transitions towards closed-loop supply chains and net-zero operations with a focus on extended producer responsibility (EPR), product stewardship, and circular business models in packaging and chemical industries.
Having worked across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, I bring a cross-cultural perspective. I enjoy tackling complex supply chain and ESG challenges and thrive in transdisciplinary, cross-functional ecosystems, where new ideas can be synthesized and scaled for impact on patients, people and the planet.
