Jabulani Shaba

I am an interdisciplinary researcher of resource extraction in sub-Saharan Africa with sharp interests in critical minerals, gold and copper mining and oil environmental politics. My interests on extraction and development stem from my doctoral research project that focused on the socio-environmental history of women in artisanal gold mining in Zimbabwe completed at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
