I am a PhD Student in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences at the University of Washington.

My main focus is studying host immune response of Pycnopodia helianthoides (Sunflower sea stars) to Sea Star Wasting Disease using transcriptomics. I also have collaborated on projects studying the ecology of Eelgrass Wasting Disease in the San Juan Islands, Washington, USA.
