Gideon is an epidemiologist working in chronic disease in western Sydney. He has a PhD from the University of Wollongong, a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney, and has been working as an epidemiologist for over a decade. He is also a science communicator and writes regularly on his blog and is a columnist for Slate and the Guardian.
