Ghaith is currently an honorary academic at the University of Liverpool and MRC Research Fellow at the School of Tropical Medicine in Liverpool, UK. He works on the pharmacokinetic pharmacodynamic analysis for drugs used for malaria, TB and recently COVID-19.
Ghaith obtained his PhD from Cardiff university which revolved around synthesising non-psychoactive cannabinoids for treating irritable bowl disease.
