I am a philosopher by training, specializing in applied ethics. I have published on a variety of topics in that area, including research ethics, big data, vaccine allocation, food ethics, human enhancement, and in vitro fertilization. Other interests include clinical ethics, social and political philosophy, politics, and journalism ethics.
