I am a landscape planner, interested in the effects of human interventions on biodiversity and ecosystem functions. My favourite tool are maps of vegetation and habitats that I strive to connect with field based ecological knowledge.

I am part of the DAFNE project (www.dafne-project.eu), working on the effects of dams on ecosystem services in two transboundary river basins in Africa, the Zambezi and the Omo-Turkana.
