Fernanda has a Bachelor of Nursing (2002) and Doctor in Science (Nursing) (2010), obtained at the Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing, University of São Paulo (Brazil), focused on Nursing Education Research. After that, she joined the same university as an Assistant Nursing Professor. In 2021, Fernanda joined MacEwan University in Edmonton, Canada, as an Educational Developer (2021-2024), and now she is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nursing. She is married and the mother of two awesome boys.
