Erik M. Jensen’s areas are taxation, business planning and American Indian law. His recent publications include, among others, “Did the Sixteenth Amendment Ever Matter? Does It Matter Today?” and “A Question Important to Investors (Whether They Realize It or Not): Is Realization a Constitutional Requirement for Income Taxation?”
Jensen clerked for Judge Monroe G. McKay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and practiced in New York with Sullivan & Cromwell. He was coordinating editor of the Journal of Legal Education from 1992 and 1998 and he currently edits the Journal of Taxation of Investments.
