Elizabeth Tingle

I have experience as a classroom educator in the K-12 setting in various settings. My MA included a specialization in Adult Learning, and I have experience facilitating professional learning for classroom educators. I currently lecture to all pre-service teachers at the Werklund School of Education through a required course called Comprehensive School Health and Wellness through a podcast series that is also available to the public called The Podclass: Conversations on School Health. I am passionate about weight-neutral health promotion and get to support various research projects and knowledge mobilization efforts related to body image and eating disorder prevention through my role as the Coordinator for the Body Image Research Lab, led by Dr. Shelly Russell-Mayew.
