Eliana Canavesio

Eliana Canavesio is an economist and Research Associate at the Florence School of Banking and Finance (European University Institute). Her research focuses on financial literacy, gender gaps in economic and financial outcomes, and the evaluation of community-based educational programmes.

Her work places particular emphasis on the use of sex-disaggregated data as a basis for sound economic analysis and evidence-based policy. Alongside her research, she contributes to the design and coordination of academic programmes, events, and community engagement activities. She previously worked at the European Central Bank and holds an MSc in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University.
