Dr Dusana Dorjee is an Associate Professor in Psychology in Education at the University of York where she leads the Well Minds Lab. She combines her expertise in clinical psychology and cognitive neuroscience in her developmental translational neuroscience research on mental health and wellbeing. She investigates psychological and neural processes underpinning mental health and wellbeing and works on ‘translating’ new understanding of these processes into interventions, school curricula and policy. Dusana authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles and wrote three peer-reviewed books published by Routledge. Her research recently formed the basis for a new mental health and wellbeing curriculum for primary schools in England. The curriculum is based on her third book - Making Sense of Mental Health and Wellbeing in Primary Schools: A Practical, Neuroscience-Based Guide. Dusana was an advisor for mental health and wellbeing policy developments in the UK and internationally.
