Dimas is a PhD candidate and Pre-doctoral Teaching Associate at the University of Washington, Seattle, United States. His research and teaching are focused on issues pertaining to neglected tropical diseases, social determinants of health, and the reproduction of social injustice in Indonesia. He is also the director of Karyalekha Basa Foundation, a non-profit organization working of providing access of healthcare and education for underrepresented communities in remote areas in East Java, Indonesia.
