Dr Diann Rodgers-Healey’s career has spanned diverse sectors including education, the corporate and not-for-profit sector. She has held positions of leadership and management in Sydney and London.
Diann is the Executive Director of the Australian Centre for Leadership for Women (ACLW), a virtual Centre at www.leadershipforwomen.com.au which she founded in 2000. Through the Centre, she has established national leadership awards for women and contributed to federal policy development and published research reports on gender and leadership. Diann draws in teams of community and business leaders to work with her on common goals to advance women in leadership in the community and in workplaces thus consolidating its vision to TRANSFORM - EMPOWER - RECOGNISE - GLOBALIZE and GIVE BACK.
Diann is Adjunct Professor in The Cairns Institute of JCU and Fellow the Wollongong Academy of Tertiary Teaching and Learning Excellence at the University of Wollongong. Diann's PhD thesis led to the development of a co-existential leadership model for workplaces for men and women.
Diann is also an Executive Business Coach for leaders and emerging leaders. In 2009 she received The World of Difference 100 Award from The International Alliance of Women and was the 2013 Finalist in the NSW Premier’s Woman of the Year Award.
Diann is the author of several books including “Considerations for Australia’s next woman Prime Minister,” “Abandoning Leadership for a better way of being for women and men” and “Women’s Activism - insights for empowering women from global women activists.” She has been featured in print, radio and online media for her research findings on women and boards.
