Cristina Galalae

I am a marketing academic passionate about consumer culture, marketplace inclusion and exclusion, multicultural marketing. Through my work, I challenge systemic societal and structural inequalities with the intention of bringing about change.

Some of my ongoing projects include explorations of brand activism and consumer empowerment in Ukraine, marketplace discrimination and racism in Eastern Europe and the experience of adolescent consumers in the UK.

My previous work has been accepted for publications in several prestigious academic journals that I value, such as Journal of Marketing Management, Consumption, Markets & Culture, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, the European Journal of Marketing.
