I specialize in the sustainable production of low-trophic organisms such as mussels, oysters, and cockles, through both aquaculture and fisheries, in collaboration with various stakeholders. My research focuses on the ecological impacts of bivalve production in coastal waters, including eutrophication mitigation, phytoplankton filtration, and the ecophysiology of these organisms. I also explore the biological and physical processes involved, conducting monitoring and bivalve surveys, and developing ecological models.

Additionally, I am dedicated to advancing hatchery practices for the European flat oysters, aimed at both aquaculture and restoration efforts. My work encompasses the evolution of biodiversity in relation to climate change, invasive species, aquaculture, fisheries, and restoration. I prioritize biosecurity in aquaculture, particularly concerning Bonamia ostreae in flat oysters, and develop decision support tools for managers.
