Bronwyn is a lecturer with James Cook University in veterinary science. She has a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, Master of Science degree majoring in Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law, Memberships with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Animal Welfare and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in canine health and welfare. In 2022, she became the youngest President of the Australian Veterinary Association. In 2023, Bronwyn was awarded a Churchill Fellowship for investigating recruitment and retention policies for veterinarians overseas. Bronwyn is a Director of the Walk In Clinic For Animals, an urgent care veterinary clinic in Canberra, Pawl AI, a veterinary technology startup and Veterinary Support Group, a consulting company based in Canberra. Bronwyn also volunteers on two Animal Ethics Committees.

Bronwyn has a keen interest in animal welfare and veterinary workforce issues.
