Anja Smith

Anja Smith is a consultant at Percept and a researcher at Research on Socio-Economic Policy at the Economics Department of Stellenbosch University. She is a development economist by training. Anja spent the first eight years of her career consulting in the area of access to financial services and financial inclusion, helping to establish the Centre for Financial Regulation and Inclusion (www.cenfri.org) in 2008. After receiving a PhD in Economic focused on various questions on health financing and quality of healthcare delivery, she now focuses on all social delivery systems that support moving individuals out of poverty.
