Anastasia Denisova

Anastasia Denisova is a Senior Lecturer in Journalism at University of Westminster. Her main research interests are: 1) climate change and the media, 2) Internet memes, 3) viral cultures.

Her upcoming 2024 book Effective Climate Communication (Palgrave Macmillan) looks into the empowering ways to communicate the biggest issue of our times to the overwhelmed readers.

Her previous work covered Fashion Media and Sustainability (2021, Westminster University Press), Internet Memes and Society (2019, Tayloyr & Francis). Anastasia has published widely in top academic journals, including Social Media+Society; Media, Culture and Society; Journalism etc. She is regularly invited to deliver keynotes and public-facing talks.
