Amanda Bulman is a PhD student in the Discipline of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Canberra (UC). She is investigating the effects of L-theanine (green tea amino acid) on sleep quality.
Amanda is also the Senior Technical Coordinator for the School of Rehabilitation and Exercise Sciences and the Technical Officer for the Anatomy & Physiology Facility in the Faculty of Health at UC. Since completing her Bachelor of Science (Honours), Amanda has worked in a variety of technical roles in both research and industry in the areas of infertility, Type 2 diabetes and obesity, and commercial biodiesel production.
Amanda’s PhD focuses on functional beverage development for reducing stress and anxiety and improving the quality of sleep.
