Adrián A. Davín

Adrián A. Davín is a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich in the Sunagawa Lab, where he works on microbial evolution. His research spans evolutionary biology, bioinformatics, and data science, with a strong focus on phylogenetics and genome evolution. Before joining ETH, he held postdoctoral positions at the Australian Centre for Ecogenomics (University of Queensland) and the University of Tokyo, where he worked on ancient DNA. He holds a PhD in bioinformatics from Université de Lyon 1. His main focus is reconstructing the deep history of life and understanding how ecological and evolutionary processes shape microbial communities.
