Yolandi Schoeman

I hold two masters degrees, one in integrated water management and one in environmental management. I also hold a PhD in environmental management. I have submitted a second PhD in economic and management sciences in November 2024. I am also completing studies in civil and structural engineering. My specialist field is ecological engineering and extreme ecological engineering with my current research direction moving into pioneering the field of chrono ecological engineering which combines paleo-ecological engineering with astro ecological engineering. I have extensive experience in mining, manufacturing and the academic sectors. I am currently applied as senior lecturer in ecological engineering at the University of the Free State and I am heading up the Ecological Engineering Institute of Africa.
