Yohannes Gedamu

Dr. Yohannes Gedamu is a Senior Lecturer in political science at Georgia Gwinnett College’s School of Liberal Arts. His book titled 'The Politics of Contemporary Ethiopia: Ethnic Federalism and Authoritarian Survival' was published in 2021 by Routledge. Dr. Gedamu's expertise focuses on sub-Saharan Africa in general and the Horn of Africa countries in particular. Topics of interest are: democratisation, authoritarian survival, ethnic politics, federalism, and cross-border societies in the politics of cooperation or discord.
