Yifan Ge

Yifan Ge is a PhD student funded by Administrative Data Research UK (ADRUK) and the South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership (SCDTP) in Gerontology at the University of Southampton, supervised by Professor Athina Vlachantoni and Professor Jane Falkingham. Yifan’s current research focuses on how women’s pension entitlements and retirement expectations have been impacted by the recent reforms to the state pension age (SPA), particularly among those born in the 1950s, and how these vary across different demographic and socio-economic groups.
