I am a limnologist, oceanographer, and modeler exploring regional-scale ecosystem dynamics and biogeochemical cycles in large water bodies, such as the Laurentian Great Lakes and the oceans. I earned my Ph.D. in 2023 from Michigan Technological University under the supervision of Dr. Pengfei Xue and am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology working with Dr. Annalisa Bracco. I have extensive experience in developing and applying regional ocean models (e.g., FVCOM, CROCO), biogeochemical modules (e.g., PISCES), and biophysical models (e.g., Ichthyop), as well as integrating these modeling frameworks with advanced artificial intelligence techniques.
