William Hollingshead

William Hollingshead (he/him) is a Postdoctoral research fellow in the Social Media Lab at Toronto Metropolitan University. His work focuses upon the affordances of social media for formulating collective identity within social movements, and more generally, research methods for studying digital trace data on social media. Recently, William’s work has been published in Mobilization: An International Quarterly, the Handbook of Computational Social Science, and the 2nd edition of Sage’s Handbook of Social Media Research Methods. He also has contributed to work that was featured in several news publications, most notably the National Post.
