I have a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physiology from King's College London, a M.Sc. in Human Evolution and Behaviour from University College London, and a Ph.D. in Vertebrate Paleontology from University College London. I am currently an Associate Professor in Anthropology at Lehman College and the Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a Research Associate and Richard Gilder Graduate School faculty member at the American Museum of Natural History, New York. My field of expertise is the paleobiology of fossil hominins, with an emphasis on the evolution of upright walking.
